New Ingest and Transfer Area for the Production Village at BBC White City.

Working in conjunction with digital production consultants Support Partners Wire Broadcast relocated and set up a new Ingest and Transfer Bay at the Media Centre in BBC White City.

The area includes every flavour of SD and HD deck switched into five Apple Xserves running FCP with Kona cards.

The relocation featured a mixture of original and new components as the opportunity was taken to upgrade the area to HD and to bring it in to line with the current workflow requirements.
